Terry Parker’s work with clay began as a serious hobby in the mid-70s when she discovered a love of making and using functional pottery. After not being able to take a pottery class as an elective while studying engineering at Cornell University, she realized that ambition by taking classes and attending workshops when she moved to California in 1974. In 2001, her hobby became a full time activity when she left the corporate world and entered the world of juried art fairs and open studio tours.
