About the Artist
Abstract artist Tanja Eltze sees her art as an important element within the larger context of architecture and design. It is because of that viewpoint that she is passionate about creating commissioned pieces of modern art that are inspired by the space in which it will reside, the clients and the overall design goal.
She uses a variety of technique samples to evaluate together with the clients what they are drawn to and the goal is always to create a unique piece of art that the homeowners or business owners love and that elevates the space or otherwise brings to the space what it was missing, be it harmony, light, more energy, an element of surprise, calm or beauty.
Eltze likes to create larger scale pieces that make a big impact. Her style is modern abstract but she is also inspired by the Sonoran desert and often uses natural and organic elements in her art.
Tanja works from her home studio in Oro Valley, Arizona. The name of her company and showroom is moca23.
