Virtual Studio Tour
An aerial view of my very compact studio looking north. The six-foot window provides a glorious view of the Catalinas. The easel is my own invention crafted from scrapyard steel and 2 x 6's. I often do ink work at the desk to the right while my wife does the dinner dishes. The foreground shows "Bone Blanket" roughs, an image transfer project
The entry view of my 150 sq.ft. studio. My mobile Ikea brushes table accommodates photo shoots while banners over the window offer a choice of inspiring quotes. Home repair bins compete for shelf space in the background. Utrecht shipping boxes hold vintage collage supplies. "100 bad drawings" are sequestered in boxes left, binders: test samples
A rogues gallery of works in progress painted on used book covers, #MTOH. I've yet to banish by tool collection, right, for another art supply shelf but maybe soon. Brushes are like fishing lures, meant more for the predator than the prey. Naps are in high demand. Plywood floor requires footcoverings at all times but its a heck of a dance floor
