Artist Bio

Judith Mariner began as an artist in high school in Phoenix, Arizona and has been painting ever since. She received a Bachelor of Music degree with a minor in art and psychology from the University of Arizona. Judith has a studio-gallery (“The Whale”) in central Tucson with a large body of her work on display. The Whale has become a studio and salon for other working artists and collectors.

Description of Medium

Judith's paintings cover a large visual range from representational to abstract. Frequently her subjects explore or present archetypal qualities and the multi-dimensionality of human consciousness. More recently, Judith began working three-dimensionally, sculpting and hand building in clay. This work is innovative, complex and prolific.
