Artist Bio

I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but went to NYC where I worked & studied at Pratt Institute Manhattan Center. In New York, I worked with oils, acrylics, silkscreen, lithography & photo techniques. I worked at Roberto Esteves Studio and in fashion production with Lisandro Sarasola as well as fashion jewelry with Arpad. In Tucson, I began to develop new avenues in both wood and metal. My art has been in many shows from Davis Dominguez to the Heard Museum’s Spanish Market Tubac and TMA Spring and Fall Art Shows.
My artwork represents recognition of the inspirational moment and the beauty of creating projects that may surprise and evoke another-worldliness. That is why I have worked in several contrasting and complementing mediums and materials.
I enjoy the challenges as I use materials like wood, glass, recycled metal, or odd found objects focusing on shape, color, and function.

Description of Medium

My "Geometrics" series deals with the nature of paradigms interpreted as geometrical planes crossing one another. The colors depict emotions while the rigid hard-edge nature of the work gives a sense of containment in a world of endless floating possibilities. In the construction of a metamorphosis of odd pieces that become legs for a box or a mythical animal, I find myself in total homeostasis.
