About the Artist
Around the age of eight, I submitted an example to “Draw the Pirate” that was on the back of a matchbook cover. A representative came out to the house and I have been drawing ever since.
About the Process
Three AM is the bewitching hour for creativity for me. I will awaken to an idea for a project around then. If it’s still there when I get up, that’s when the work starts. That usually means research, research and more research. Even if a work is fiction, I make it with a basis of truth to “set the hook” of the viewer.
