Spring Winders -Designer, metalsmith and entrepreneur behind Heliotrope.
Based in Tucson, Arizona, Spring gathers inspiration from the desert: jagged landscapes, startling sunsets, radiantly bizarre plant life, and the abundance of wild, survivalist creatures. Everywhere she feels the juxtaposition of vulnerability with timeless strength.
Spring was born in rural northern Arizona and among the piñon juniper forests outside Show Low. After receiving her BFA from Northern Arizona University, she traveled widely and lived in Portland, Oregon and Cuernavaca, Mexico.
In 2012 Spring relocated to Tucson and launched Heliotrope shortly after. She lives with her partner, poet Logan Phillips, and their twin girls.
