Artist Bio

While engaged in my undergraduate studies my portfolio was accepted by Tyler School of Art for a year in Rome. Through this experience the study of art and architecture evolved into a life long investigation of energy flow and the design of a building block to represent my thoughts on patterning infused with light energy and dimensional escape. Ten years in the making I was invited to MIT Center for Advanced Visual Studies and completed a Master of Science in Visual Studies. Now 20 years in Tucson I first was given, 2018 a Copyright Registration for Motion Induced Tetrahedral Derivative. There is more in the studio for a continued BIO…in the making.

Description of Medium

LAST FEW YEARS I'VE RECOGNIZED THE NARROWING OF GESTURE IN NOT ONLY MY DRAWINGS BUT ALSO IN MY WELDED STEEL WORK. I COULDN'T IMAGINE ANOTHER YEAR GONE BY WITHOUT A PAUSE FOR 1917 AND THE INCREDIBLE THEORY OF RELATIVITY BEING DISCUSSED AT GREATER LENGTH. THE MID CENTURY ABSTRACTIONISTS BUILT METHODS OF EXPRESSION WITH A VENUE SKILLED THROUGH DRAWING/PAINTING COMMITTED SWIRLS AND SPIRALS. MY NEW WORKS PLAY OUT IN STEEL AND WOOD WHILE SUPPORTED IN SERIES OF ENERGY DRAWINGS. I BELIEVE THE TENS OF THE 20th CENTURY REMAINS A BEGINNING.
