Ellen Campbell

I received an MFA in ceramics and have also worked in cast bronze as well as combined materials on paper and wood panel. My recent work is colorful and upbeat. The abstract imagery draws inspiration from signs and symbols used by cultures throughout time to record events and pass along significant information. I am also inspired by diagrams such as mandalas and yantras that are used to focus the mind and direct the awareness inward.
