Artist Bio

I majored in studio art at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY and studied at la Academia de Bellas Arte in Madrid. I have shown at galleries in Washington, DC; Claremont, Ca.; and Tucson, Az, had one-person museum exhibits at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC and The Collectors Gallery at North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC. My work is in public and private collections across the country.

Description of Medium

Color, light and love of nature infuse my work. Rooted in 17th & 18th European still life tradition, my painting and photography celebrate the beauty of the ephemeral, the gift of the moment, and relationships of the inanimate. Fascination with form and color expresses itself as well in my jewelry, created from vintage beads to semi-precious stones.
